Kristin joined Tyton Partners as an associate in 2016 in the strategy consulting practice. She came to the firm through the Education Pioneers Fellowship, a program that recruits, develops and places talented professionals in leading education organizations.
Prior to joining Tyton Partners, Kristin was a 2014 corps member with Teach for America (TFA). She spent her first year in Atlanta, GA teaching 9th grade math and coaching the high school’s cheerleading squad. Kristin’s second year with TFA was in the San Francisco Bay area where she taught 4th grade and coached the school’s Girl’s on the Run team. Between the school years, Kristin spent her summer in Denver, CO with Senator Mike Johnson as part of the Urban Leaders Fellowship Program, where she focused on policy issues related to education reform and economic development.
Kristin started her career as a consultant at Deloitte. She designed and implemented process efficiencies for companies in a variety of fields including retail, defense contracting, and energy.
Kristin earned a B.S. in Finance from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech.
