Sharon joined Tyton Partners in 2017 as a principal in the strategy consulting practice.
Sharon worked on the evaluation of new investments and supported portfolio companies at a venture capital fund investing in the global education market while earning her MBA at Harvard Business School. She also spent time in Singapore building investment theses for a growth equity fund investing in education companies across Asia.
Prior to graduate school, Sharon worked for the Office of the President at the University of California System supporting key initiatives including optimizing allocation of the system-wide budget, improving working capital management, and developing a new university ventures fund. Prior to this role, Sharon worked for Rocketship Education, a national K-12 charter network; during her tenure, she helped redesign the network’s financial model and was actively involved in devising a new growth strategy for the organization.
Early in her career, Sharon worked as an investment banking analyst on the Mergers and Acquisitions team at RBC Capital Markets where she covered various industries including technology, media, healthcare, and energy.
Sharon earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
