Tim is a Senior Advisor and Managing Director at Tyton Partners. Tim brings over 20 years of experience in executive management, technology development, investing, consulting and policy in the education industry and is a well-known executive leader and advisor in the field.
Prior to joining Tyton Partners, Tim was the Founder and Managing Partner of Gulfstream Strategies, a consulting firm focused on transaction diligence and strategic advisory services for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. From 2014 – 2016, Tim participated in transactions totaling approximately $4 billion.
Prior to Gulfstream Strategies, Tim was CEO of Campus Management, an administrative platform provider to the higher education sector, where he led a business transformation that yielded 100% growth in revenue and EBITDA in four years. Prior to Campus Management, he was the CEO of Scantron Corporation, an assessment platform provider to the K-12 sector, where he led the sale of the company to M&F Worldwide.
Tim spent the first 12 years of his career at ADP, the global leader in human capital management solutions. While at ADP, he served in various senior sales leadership roles. Tim also served on the Board of Directors for Measured Progress, a leading provider of assessment solutions to the K-12 market. Tim currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Columbia College of Hollywood, a not-for-profit film school.
Tim is a graduate of the University of Washington and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
