Michael Olsaro

Michael Olsaro is a principal in the strategy consulting practice at Tyton Partners. He joined the firm in January 2018.

Prior to joining Tyton Partners, Michael served in the Peace Corps as a Preventative Health Educator in Senegal, West Africa. He was tasked with identifying health shortcomings within his rural farming community of 3,000 people and creating efficient, impactful, and sustainable interventions alongside his host country counterparts. During his service, he worked in malaria prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and childhood and maternal health. He worked closely with the local primary school to implement new health curriculum and introduce innovative teaching techniques to the teachers. Michael also empowered Senegalese youth by leading and teaching at various camps centering on girl’s empowerment, health topics, and the promotion of education through the Michelle Obama’s Let Girls Learn Initiative.

Michael holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
