Source: Press Release BOSTON, MA (May 21, 2019) – Tyton Partners has released the Time for Class Toolkit, a set of research-based briefs designed to support institutional dialogue, decision-making and action around instructional practices and digital learning tools, especially adaptive courseware. The kit was built using data from Time for Class, a national longitudinal survey of 4,000+ higher education faculty and administrators, fielded since 2014 by Tyton Partners and the Babson Survey Research Group.
Key observations from the study include:
As a founding partner of the Every Learner Everywhere network, Tyton Partners has published the full toolkit for use by postsecondary faculty and administrators. As the network expands its work with institutions to scale high quality digital learning, the toolkit will be used to support planning and implementation.
“These briefs are designed to help administrators and faculty make informed choices about digital learning and courseware tools that can improve teaching and learning at their institution,” stated Kristen Fox, Director at Tyton Partners. “This year, we have organized our findings in discrete and actionable research briefs. Along with links to the excellent resources of our network partners, we’ve created a freely accessible collection of assets to ease implementation challenges and support the scaling efforts of higher education institutions.”
The publications in this series owe much to the support and engagement of a diverse group of individuals and organizations including: the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, EDUCAUSE, EdSurge, Digital Promise, the Digital Learning Research Network, the Online Learning Consortium, Intentional Futures, and WCET.
