The Skills Needed to Thrive in the Future of Work

What does being a skilled worker mean in an AI-driven future? This session, referencing D2L and Morning Consult reports, explores the human-AI relationship and the enduring value of human skills. It highlights how higher education can equip students and faculty to adapt and thrive in an evolving workforce.

How to Design for Student Success in and out of the Classroom

This session draws insights from a survey of 1,600 diverse learners, 80% of whom are students of color. Half have paused their college journey, and half are first-generation students. Their expectations and challenges in obtaining a credential are compared with the perceptions of faculty, staff, and administrators, aiming to improve student success through better-designed experiences and products.
