Ashley Beuchel is a Director at Tyton Partners, where she has worked on a wide range of projects since joining the strategy consulting practice in 2021. Her experience spans impact strategy, corporate strategy, and market study engagements across multiple sectors of the education industry.
Before joining Tyton, Ashley earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a master’s degree in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. During her graduate studies, she spent a summer at Reach Capital, an education technology venture capital firm, where she supported portfolio company founders, advanced internal impact metrics and reporting, and developed a market landscape and investment thesis on emerging micro-schooling trends in response to COVID-19.
Earlier in her career, Ashley was an investment associate with the Berkeley Endowment Management Company (BEMCO), investing across asset classes. She began her professional journey as an investment banking analyst at BB&T Capital Markets, focusing on sell-side M&A for Industrials and Logistics & Transportation companies, before moving to William Blair to focus on sell-side M&A for Consumer & Retail companies.

Led engagement with leading EdTech company to analyze global market positioning and growth opportunities in a sell-side market study
Managed due diligence analysis for a global higher education organization evaluating an investment in higher education.
Example: Supported a nonprofit in assessing the impact of its education initiatives through data collection and analysis.
