About Nathaniel
Nathaniel Green is an Associate at Tyton Partners, where he supports strategy consulting projects across the education sector. With a background in education, data analytics, and public health, he brings an analytical and mission-driven approach to helping institutions, nonprofits, and companies navigate change and identify opportunities for impact.
Nathaniel began his work in education through the Johns Hopkins Jail Tutorial Project, supporting incarcerated learners preparing for the GED, and later as a Teach For America educator in Brooklyn, NY. Over five years, he taught STEM, coding, and science to middle school students, developing a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in K–12 education.
He later completed the Flatiron School’s Data Science program and applied his skills to streamline transportation logistics at Young Judaea Sprout Brooklyn Day Camp, improving operational efficiency through data-driven solutions.
At Tyton, Nathaniel blends his experience in teaching and analytics to support clients in developing practical, forward-looking strategies. He is particularly interested in sustainability and the role of technology in the future of learning.
Recent Project Highlights
- Conducted 10+ interviews with higher education administrators and analyzed Tyton IP on affordable access models, producing a 30-page report on their impact in reducing textbook costs
- Developed a proprietary model and corresponding survey to assess the maturity of faculty affairs offices at higher education institutions
