Tyton Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Clary to Managing Director in the firm’s investment banking practice. In his new role, Dan will lead, source, and execute both sell-side and buy-side transactions across the global knowledge ecosystem with a focus on software and tech-enabled models serving higher education, corporate training and test prep, and human capital management.

Dan Clary joined Tyton Partners in September 2020 as a Vice President in the investment banking practice. He has extensive strategy, transaction, and operating experience within the education and global knowledge sector.
Pryor to Tyton Partners, Dan spent 11 years with Adtalem Global Education, Inc. (NYSE: ATGE), a leading global provider of higher education, corporate training, and workforce solutions. Dan served as Adtalem’s Director of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions where he drove the diligence, execution, and integration of complex, global transactions. His work incorporated a wide range of functions, including overall enterprise strategy, portfolio optimization and capital allocation strategies, and working with operating leaders to build and execute on business unit growth strategies. While at Adtalem, Dan co-founded an online program management (OPM) business, Integrated Education Solutions, serving as its Executive Director of Strategy and Planning, and led business development efforts for Becker, the leading provider of accounting and professional education.
Dan began his career in consulting at Bain & Company and in risk management at Marsh & McLennan.
Dan earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an B.A. from the Honors Program at Boston College.
