About Ria

Dr. Ria Bharadwaj is a Principal at Tyton Partners, where she works with institutions, investors, and nonprofits to navigate the evolving education landscape. She brings deep expertise in higher education, research analytics, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, helping clients make informed, data-driven decisions that drive meaningful impact.

Ria’s career spans strategy, research, and teaching. Before joining Tyton Partners, she was a research analyst at Human Capital Research Corporation (HCRC), where she helped colleges and universities optimize recruitment and financial aid strategies. Earlier in her career, she designed DEI training programs for faculty and staff at Princeton University and taught 7th-grade special education math in the South Bronx through Teach for America.

With a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard, Ria applies a research-backed approach to solving complex challenges in education. She is passionate about ensuring institutions and investors have the insights they need to serve students effectively—both today and in the future.
