Natasha Janson joined Tyton Partners in 2022 as Director of Market Research in the strategy consulting practice.
Prior to joining Tyton, Natasha worked at Duke Health as a principal market research consultant, designing patient satisfaction and needs surveys across the health system and helping to build an online patient community advisory panel heavily focused on examining and delivering equitable health services and outcomes. Previous to her role at Duke Health, Natasha was the study director for a new national quantitative survey for undergraduate students out of the University of Southern California, which allows colleges and universities to take an introspective look at the policies and practices surrounding racial equity and inclusion on their campuses.
Natasha began her career at the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) as research director, followed by a decade spent at RTI International, the federal contractor for several postsecondary studies sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). At RTI, Natasha was the study director for the Baccalaureate and Beyond (B&B) Study, and the senior instrumentation task leader for various (NCES) studies, including the National Postsecondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS). The focus of these surveys is on college affordability and outcomes and the research reported affects and is used to help shape federal student financial aid and other policies.
Natasha holds a PhD and an MEd in Higher Education Administration from The College of William and Mary, and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
