About Shlomy
Dr. Shlomy Kattan sits at the intersection of innovation and social impact. For more than two decades, he has led organizations as a social entrepreneur, strategy consultant, impact investor, and nonprofit executive and board member, bringing a cross-sector perspective to solving complex challenges.
As a managing director at Tyton Partners, Shlomy advises philanthropic foundations, nonprofits, investors, and market-leading companies on strategy, impact and value creation, partnership development, and business transformation. Highlights of his work include opportunity validation and go-to-market strategy for a leading K–12 curriculum provider exploring early childhood education; commercial due diligence on a Medicaid reimbursement platform in the K–12 sector; growth strategy for a global provider of world language instruction; and diligence efforts in the special education and IEP space, as well as the digital literacy and computer programming markets.
Before joining Tyton in 2022, Shlomy served as chief advancement officer at the XPRIZE Foundation, where he led organization-wide fundraising efforts, more than doubling the lifetime prize purse to $350 million. Prior to that, he was executive director of XPRIZE’s education and social impact practice and led the Adult Literacy XPRIZE.
