Dr. Natasha Janson has dedicated her career to investigating the core issues concerning higher-education institutions. As Tyton’s director of market research in the strategy consulting practice, Natasha draws on over 20 years of experience developing and leading entrepreneurial quantitative and qualitative market research studies, with a particular focus on impact surveys in higher education.

Advising on the measurement and evaluation of an education-to-career initiative with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
Designing data collection strategy for Tyton’s market measurement team, producing widely recognized publications like Time for Class and Driving Toward a Degree
Before Tyton, Natasha was a principal market research consultant at Duke Health, designing patient satisfaction surveys and building an online patient community advisory panel focused on equitable health services. At the University of Southern California, she directed a national survey on racial equity and inclusion in higher education.
Natasha started her career at the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) as a research director and spent a decade at RTI International, working on federal postsecondary studies for the US Department of Education National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). At RTI, she led the Baccalaureate and Beyond (B&B) study and contributed to the National Postsecondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS).
