Vivek is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Tyton Partners Investment Banking. He co-leads the firm’s investment banking practice, setting strategic direction, overseeing transaction execution across the platform, and driving long-term growth initiatives. He plays a central role in originating and leading the firm’s M&A mandates, advising founders, boards, and private equity investors on complex transactions across the global knowledge and education technology markets. Vivek also leads the firm’s efforts in talent development and governance and serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Deal Committee.
Vivek has over 25 years of experience advising SaaS, technology-enabled services, and education companies as an investment banker and strategic advisor. His experience spans sell-side and buy-side M&A, recapitalizations, and growth capital raises for founder-owned businesses and private equity-backed platforms. Over the course of his career, he has led or participated in more than 200 transactions representing over $7.5 billion in aggregate transaction value.
Prior to Tyton Partners, Vivek held senior investment banking roles at Berkery Noyes, where he focused on high-growth businesses operating at the intersection of education, technology, and information services. Throughout his career, he has developed deep expertise in navigating complex shareholder dynamics, regulatory considerations, and premium positioning strategies within specialized vertical markets.
Vivek is a frequent speaker and participant at leading global education technology conferences. He previously served as a Trustee on the Board of Education for the Rye City School District and holds a BS from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
