ECS is a leading high-stakes test-prep company that publishes proprietary materials for CCSS examinations and the Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (“STARR”) Exam. The company has a strong penetration in the Texas market with 500+ districts in the state. In addition, ECS produces CCSS test-prep materials for districts in 37 additional states.

Asteria Education was formed by education investor David Cumberbatch for the purpose of acquiring ECS.
