Tyton Partners represented Motion Math in its sale to Curriculum Associates

Tyton Partners acted as a financial advisor to Motion Math in its sale to Curriculum Associates. The deal will enhance Curriculum Associates’ i-Ready program by enriching student experience in developing critical math skills.

Motion Math engages students with visual math games that promote a growth mindset through feedback and coaching, challenging and empowering students to understand difficult concepts. It offers more than 500 levels of adaptive, game-based content in the areas of fractions, addition, subtraction, number line, division, multiplication, proportions, estimation, measurement, and more.

Curriculum Associates’ i-Ready program collects a broad spectrum of rich data on student abilities that identifies areas where a student is struggling, measures growth across a student’s career, supports teacher-led differentiated instruction, and provides a personalized instructional path within a single online solution. It is used by nearly 15% of all K-8 students nationwide across all 50 states. The deal for Motion Math is only the second acquisition Curriculum Associates has made it its nearly 50-year history.
