As a Principal at Tyton Partners, Dan Brennan brings a deep understanding of educational research, policy, and strategic operations to support institutions, investors, and organizations shaping the future of learning.
Dan’s expertise is rooted in data and impact. Before joining Tyton, he played a key leadership role at the College Crisis Initiative (C2i), a research lab that provided real-time insights on COVID-19’s impact on higher education. There, he managed strategic operations, led data collection and synthesis, and guided a team of 40 researchers in delivering analysis used by major news outlets and policymakers.
Dan has also held economic and policy research roles at both the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE), where he honed his ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. At Tyton, Dan has combined his strengths in research & analysis with strategic frameworks, helping organizations make sense of shifting landscapes, optimize their strategies, and drive meaningful impact.
